JUDGE MY VOW

“Sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow!” This theatrical line serves on multiple levels. First: a request to a mystical being, for a decree of decision. And yet more relevant to my field: an English pangram, composed minimally of all 26 letters, used to thoroughly demonstrate a sample of type. This line became the center of one of my favorite projects in Typography 2, wherein I built 6 typefaces using a regulated grid system and then compiled the development into a process book.
